Kururin Bus (The Nisshin City Bus Service) User’s Guide

Information

  • Operation days:
    Everyday except Dec29 to Jan3
  • Routes and the number of services:
    11services a day for Higashi(East),Nishi(West),Minami(South),Kita(North),Naka(Central),Tonan(Southeast),and Nansei(Southwest)routes.
    20 services a day for Chuo-sen.
  • For Nishi(West), Minami(South), and Naka(Central)routes,buses run clockwise(Migimawari),or counterclockwise(Hidarimawari).
  • For Kita(North) route, buses run between “Shiyakusho(Nisshin City Hall)”and “Nagakute Kosenjo Eki Minami”.
  • There are two timetables: For weekday service and for weekend/holiday service.
  • A transfer ticket (Noritsugi-ken) is issued only at “Shiyakusho(Nisshin City Hall)”bus stop.
  • A flat rate of 100 yen per ride, except that of Chuo-sen (200 yen).
  • Note:
    The bus service is available for free for the citizens listed below.
    1.Junior high school student and younger. 
    2. Persons who are granted the following special booklets (passbooks for physically handicapped, Health and Welfare passbooks for mentally handicapped. And persons who have received approval of using long-term care service (including necessary assistance) under Long-Term Care Insurance Act, and his/her attendant.
    The free-pass ride card is issued at Public Safety Division for people who are eligible for free-pass ride on their request.
    Passengers who don’t have “the free-pass card” are not required to show their passbooks to the bus drivers.
  • Monthly pass (1,000 yen) sales for the citizens aged 65 and older:
    It is available from the bus drivers while buses are waiting for departure at Shiyakusho(Nisshin City Hall)bus stop.
    For passengers on Chuo-sen, the monthly pass is available from bus drivers while buses are waiting for departure at “Akaike-eki”, Nagakute Kosenjo eki”, and  “Shiyakusho(Nisshin City Hall)” bus stops.
  • How to get on and off:
    Get on the buses at the rear door and get off at the front door.
